Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

This document tells you the terms and conditions of the prize draws on our website cheekyauctions.com. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before entering any prize draws. You should understand by entering the prize draws provided on our site that you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

  1. By entering the promotion, you agree to these Terms and conditions.
  2. This promotion is open to residents of the UK and Eire, except for employees of HDC Travel, their immediate family members, or anyone else associated with this promotion.
  3. Entrants must be over 18 years of age to enter.
  4. To enter the prize draw, you may either:
    (a) enter the prize draw by creating an online account, paying the advertised entry fee and submitting the entry via the applicable prize draw page by the closing date; or (b) use our free entry route by following the steps set out in Section 10 below.
  5. The winner will be drawn at random from all entries, 7 days after the closing date.
  6. Winners are announced automatically on the ‘Winners’ section and will be informed by email. We allow up to 14 days for the winner to claim their prize. Failure to respond within the specified time will result in the selection of an alternate winner.
  7. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash or any alternative.
  8. Cheeky Auctions will not accept responsibility for entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.
  9. Cheeky Auctions reserves the right to cancel or refuse any individual entry or to postpone or cancel the Prize Draw in exceptional circumstances, including but not limited to circumstances where it is apparent that there has been fraudulent activity or access to the Cheeky Auctions website has been prevented for a period longer than 24 consecutive hours due to technical problems beyond the control of Cheeky Auctions.
  10. To enter a prize draw by post, send an unenclosed post card with: Full name, full address, date of birth, contact phone number, email address, full name of prize, and correct answer for that competition (if an answer is required). Post the postcard 1st or 2nd class to: HDC Travel, 7th Floor, 32 West Street, Gateshead, Tyne & Wear, NE8 1 AD, United Kingdom. All postcards must be clearly written. If your entry is received before the prize draw closing date, you will be assigned a random number from the available numbers using the Random Number Generator. Your order will then show in your account under ‘your orders’. You will receive an email confirming receipt of your postal entry and to let you know that you have been entered into the competition. Postal entries are limited to one entrant per household. Multiple entries will not be counted. Any postal entries received after the closing date will not be counted. You must be registered as a customer on our website before sending your postal entry. Failure to match a registered account with your postal entry will result in the disposal of your entry. You can register for an account here: https://cheekyauctions.com/register. There is no charge for creating an account or for use of the website. All postal entries are treated in the same way as entries using the paid route, and you will have an equal chance of winning the competition as those that enter via our website.

  12. Cheeky Auctions acts as an agent on behalf of 3rd party suppliers. The supplier will be clearly stated on each prize draw. All prizes issued are subject to the terms and conditions of the third party supplier and Cheeky Auctions cannot be held responsible for any issues or problems incurred with any of the products, services, or other prizes won. For example any complaints regarding the quality or fulfillment of a prize item or service should be taken up directly with the 3rd party supplier.
  13. If your prize will be delivered to you via post, this may be actioned by the 3rd party supplier or by Cheeky Auctions. In either instance, Cheeky Auctions cannot be held responsible for any items lost or damaged in transit.
  14. Cheeky Auctions reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
  15. Cheeky Auctions reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice, to cancel the competition or amend these terms and conditions.
  16. All our prize draws and competitions will be governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
